I am now twenty-three-years-old. Life is hard; everybody knows that. Living with hemophilia makes life a little bit harder. There were times I felt like I was only one with hemophilia and that no one cared or even knew how I felt. I now know that is not true. There are several people out there in the world today that want to help you and me. Hemophilia can tear you down physically and mentally. We all go through this life trying to find ways to fit in and be normal. We all have battles; we all want to be understood. I consider my hemophilia a blessing because without it, I would not be the young man I am today. I appreciate the challenges I am faced with. However, just because I appreciate my challenges, does not mean that I don’t have a bad day. I have many bad days. I sometimes I even wonder why I was born with hemophilia.

Cope With Me is a blog where I will post about my life and how I cope with my hemophilia. I am always here to offer a listening ear and my goal is to help those who may feel isolated because of their bleeding disorder.
